10/22/06 | Phantoms of a Lost Muse

Consider this my official send off for those nutty phantoms. It's an allegory!

There have been some comics that I've come across recently that deserve some attention.

- Journey to Mt. Moriah is something entirely different. Superb artwork and a maddeningly offbeat approach to comicking and humor at large, this is one to look out for. If you are easily baffled, be warned.
- Wiki's Lessons in Life will pull you from the depths of despair. This is my promise to you. It is a comic that is crammed full of wit, a tiny elephant, an emotionally conflicted monster and a distinct helping of delight.
- Sticks and Stones is an exceptional example of Stick Men Done Properly, though strictly speaking they are not stick men. Regardless, a priest wrestles a bear and you should pay attention.
- Sconeborough refreshes the mind and cleanses the comic pallete with sleekness and appealing character-types. There is also a robot that is afraid of cats, but do not take my word for it.

Also, if you have not been to the forum and have ignored the upper left hand corner of all of my pages for the past two months, you may not be aware of Koala Wallop, a comicking team comprising myself, I Am a Rocket Builder, Minus, Perfect Stars and The Secret Crocodile Adventure Club. We created it with our minds to better represent the "unconventional and also poorly updated" sphere of the webcomic community.

Also also, be wary, for next week you will be able to buy just about any print of any comic that I have drawn. How does that sound?
